Graphic Design
Our graphic design portfolio includes company
reports, book design (both jackets and illustrations),
packaging, leaflets and posters for companies such
as Barclays Home Finance, Time Out, Marie Stopes
International, Film Review, London League Publications,
Antique magazine, Time Bank and the Third Age Project.
At an initial consultation we will discuss your
requirements, and collect any necessary documents
or images. If you live outside the vicinity of
London or Cambridge it may be more convenient to
liaise by phone and email.
We take care to come up with a product you feel
is right for your organisation's image, so for
any job involving a large creative input from us,
e.g. a corporate logo, we will submit more
than one design for your approval.
We can scan documents and slides up to A4, or
you can provide source material as digital photo's
or text documents. Providing us with digital versions
will of course reduce your costs. We work on Macs
and Windows PC's, so almost any kind of CD or DVD
is suitable for transferring files to us, or failing
that, email attachments or even a USB stick in
the post are fine.
Photographs you supply don't have to be perfect
- we can correct for perspective distortion and
crop out backgrounds. Any photo's requiring significant
retouching may incur extra costs, which we would
notify you of before starting work. We can accept
text in most common formats - Microsoft Word, Quark
Xpress, Excel tables, or simple Wordpad, Notepad
or TextEdit files.
Before starting we will agree a schedule for
the work, consisting of (1) a Design
Approval Date,
(2) an Editorial Check Date, and
(3) the Final Print Deadline.
